With major tram works causing traffic problems in the centre of Edinburgh, TCP is once again leading the way by introducing two-wheeled transport for mobile attendants patrolling the city.
Edinburgh’s £600m tram project will eventually help relieve traffic congestion in the city. However, the works to build new lines have closed roads and introduced contra-flows, which currently make getting around the city a challenge for motorists.
As ever thinking ‘outside the box’, TCP has approached the problem by replacing the traditional four-wheeled vehicles used by mobile attendants with new Honda Lead motor scooters. With lower emissions than a van or car, these are also better for the environment.
