Local authority Forest Heath awarded TPC a four-year contract to manage the council-owned car parks in Newmarket, Suffolk. Just one year into the contract the council has already seen an increase in parking revenue of 35%.
Fully-trained civil enforcement officers (provided by parent company TCP) patrol the town’s multi-storey shopping centre car park along with five additional off-street car parks and some resident’s parking areas. They have been responsible for a 44% increase in Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) issued and a significantly higher recovery rate.
